The EUROs are over and before we know it the Premier League will be back in full force. But when does it start, who will be in it and who is the favourite to win? Below is all the information we have so far.
When does the Premier League season start?
The Premier League 2024/25 season will start on Friday 16th August 2024 and finish on 19th May 2025. There will be 38 game weeks.
When are the fixtures released?
The fixtures for the 2024/25 season were released on 18th June. In the first round of premier league fixtures we will see the following matches:

Saturday 17th August
Ipswich v Liverpool - 12:30
Arsenal v Wolves - 15:00
Everton v Brighton - 15:00

Will there be any schedule changes?
This year the Premier League are said to be honouring their commitment to reducing the volume of matches across the Christmas period. This means that each team will have adequate rest time, with a minimum of 60 hours break in between games.
In addition to this, there may be double game weeks due to clashes with other tournaments as the season progresses.

Where can you watch the Premier League?
You can watch Premier League games every week on Sky Sports and TNT. Usually five games are picked each weekend to be shown. Saturday matches with a 3pm kick-off will never be televised.
What are the Premier League betting odds?
With the 2023/24 season having just ended, there are no surprises in the betting so far. Currently Man City are favs at 13/10*, with Arsenal at 2/1*. Next in line is Liverpool at 8/1*, with such a big price jump, it shows that it could be another two horse race next year based on everything we know at this point in time.
